The Team GB European Story

The European Championships 2021 were held in the Piedmont region of North West Italy.  Sixteen teams competed on three diamonds between 12-19th September. I was there as part of the Team GB delegation, as the official Team Artist.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions the team and I were ‘bubbled’ in a small business hotel situated on the outskirts of Turin. This gave me an unprecedented level of access to the games, training and day to day lives of the athletes, coaches and surrounding staff – all captured in paintings and drawings within this book. The artwork depicts the many moments of joy, sorrow, mending, learning and bonding over that period of time.
