Jamsil stadium, Seoul. Home of the LG Twins and Doosan Bears.
Painted in oils on board during a playoff game in October 2016.
I couldn’t get a ticket for the game that night, so wandered around until I found this vantage point overlooking the car park. As I painted, the crack of the bat followed by the roar of the crowd filled the night sky, keeping me up to date with the progress of the innings playing out inside. The glow of the lights illuminated my subject perfectly as the moon looked down.
