Porta Palatina

One of the 4 Roman built gates to the city of Turin. Porta Palatina was built in the 1st century BC on the North side of the city. Statues of Julius and Augustus Caesar stand beside the 4 arched entrance ways – 2 for chariots, 2 for pedestrians. Painted on location, Turin, September 2021.
