Shadow Speaker
Playa Amarillo, Nicaragua
Painted live at a party on the beach at Playa Amarillo. A diverse collection of ex pats and locals came together on this Saturday night to a small shelter on the sand where decks, lights and speakers had been set up. Dogs barked and ran around on the improvised dance floor as women twisted and men swung their arms. A man wearing angel wings stood over the decks directing the beats as the lights flashed revealing those in the shadows in attendance. The shadow of this man was projected onto the speaker stack facing the dance floor hoping in time to the beats it released.
