A large scale mixed media drawing created using charcoal, chalks and erasers. Working in a large energetic way this drawing uses a wide variety of mark making which construct this image. The varied techniques give depth, expression and produces a vigorous study of this historic ballpark. The manner of addition and subtraction speaks directly to the legacies of our sporting venues, very much part of our geography, history, identity and communities, both in their presence and also removal. At a distance the marks fuse together building the stadium and surrounding area which when viewed closer disappear.
