Field of Dreams
In mid August 2019, half way through my painting tour of all 30 MLB ball parks I stopped in Dyersville, Iowa at the Field of Dreams movie site. I was unsure what I would find, but it ended up being one of the most memorable, beautiful and spiritually uplifting places I have ever been. The colours, the atmosphere, and the sheer beauty of the Iowa landscape was truly inspiring. Due to this I stopped twice at the field (en route to Minneapolis from Cincinnati and again from Minneapolis to Chicago) to paint different light conditions and angles. Please see the work below.
