13th June 2021 Painted from the side-lines – live.
Last weekend I was invited to paint the #sedonsfc vs #KenningwellFC.
From the side lines I captured both games, the crowd, planes passing overhead and all else around Kings College Sports Ground, including St Hilda’s church and the line of Poplar trees.
As ever both teams were very inspiring, both on and off the field. Warm, welcoming and positive role models displayed throughout. Their dedication to the team, game and local communities they represent really shows the importance of Sunday League football, and what it provides to many in this country.
